Join us at The Merchant - Purveyor of Local Goods - for a Festive Holiday Sip, Sample, Stroll, and Shop event featuring all local flavors!

Groups will rotate around five (5) different tasting stations throughout the store. Holiday recipe cards will be available at each station for you to plan and prepare your festive holidays. Don't hesitate to ask us to help you pair items for the perfect Christmas gift.

Who We Are: The Merchant - Purveyor of Local Goods

The Merchant – Purveyor of Local Goods is a funky, urban general store & gift shop nestled in the eclectic Central Arts District in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. This a shop where old meets new fusing the modernity of a well-lived urban lifestyle with the charm and nostalgia of an old fashioned general store.

Old general stores served as a community gathering space and we seek to carry on that tradition with classes and workshops offered by the artisans.

We curate an ever-changing assortment of gifts and wares to reflect our vibrant city and promote the creative community of artists, craftsmen, and makers. Open our doors and you will find an eclectic assortment of items. Some of these include:
